**The Society for Psychological Anthropology** The Society for Psychological Anthropology (SPA) was founded in 1977. As a professional organization of the American Anthropological Association, the SPA is comprised of scholars interested in the interrelation of cultural and psychological processes. The SPA convenes world-renowned researchers, junior scholars, medical professionals and college students at the Biennial Conference dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge research on contemporary and historical conditions shaping dimensions of human experience including, but not limited to, emotion, cognition, embodiment, subjectivity and consciousness. The SPA publishes the journal: *Ethos: Journal of the Society for Psychological Anthropology*. Offering the opportunity for student membership to scholars interested in psychological processes, the SPA also offers grants and prizes to support student research. The SPA recognizes the influential work of researchers specializing in psychological anthropology through essay awards as well as the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
