About Us At the South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission we work together with the the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS), the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and the South Australian State Emergency Service (SES) to serve all South Australians by working together to achieve a safer State. The South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission plays a vital role in collaborating with local communities and other government agencies and non-government entities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to natural disasters. With a strong focus on resilience and disaster risk reduction, our work prepares communities for serious disruptions caused by natural disasters. Our people also provide corporate and business services in the areas of financial services, work health and safety, mental health and wellbeing, procurement and assets management, volunteer services, injury management, records management and ICT support to the emergency services. Vision We strive to become a leading, world-class emergency management agency responsible for ensuring the delivery and enhancement of emergency services responses for South Australians and help them mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all-hazards related emergencies and disasters. Mission - To ensure effective coordination with local, state and federal stakeholders to provide a safer and more resilient South Australia.
