Description
Sue Stinson's life was guided by a philosophy of optimism and cheerfulness. Before moving from her native Virginia to Midland in the mid-1930s, she taught in a one-room school in a Virginia Mennonite farming community and lived in a tent in the Arizona desert. She found humor and beauty in adverse situations, and the good in her life always took precedence and kept her going.
