Description
Established with a generous bequest in 2003, The Gorman Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for present and future generations and serves as the living legacy of Owen T. Gorman, Catherine “Kay” Cummings Gorman and Alice M. Gorman. We award grants to organizations that are within our geographic focus and areas of interest. Organizations must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and cannot be classified as private foundations under Section 509(a) of the Code. In select cases, we may consider support for special projects sponsored by governmental entities.
