As Yale’s international hub, we enhance the vibrancy and vitality of our campus through myriad events throughout the year as well as by bringing to campus dynamic and creative thinkers from around the world.** **How We Work** Created in the 1960s as the Concilium on International and Area Studies and renamed as The Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale in 2006, the MacMillan Center is a resource for all members of the Yale academic community. For more than 70 years, the MacMillan Center has served as vital and an enduring academic anchor for Yale University’s international teaching, research, and service. Reporting to the Office of the Provost, the MacMillan Center is a resource for all members of the Yale academic community. Our teaching, research, and programming are steered by our faculty-led regional councils and global programs.
