The United States and Uzbekistan have a bilateral relationship that encompasses a broad range of issues. Together, we cooperate on common security challenges. We try to grow our economic relationship, always looking to expand trade and investment. We collaborate on science and technology and are always looking to open up cooperation on education and to increase people-to-people exchanges. We also discuss issues of good governance such as the rule of law and guaranteeing civil and political rights.
