**Mission** **Vision** **The mission of Roane County United Way is to create long-lasting change that improves people’s lives, by collaborating with service providers and other constituencies in the community to meet community needs.** **RCUW envisions a world in which all individuals have the opportunity to become healthy, educated and self-sufficient to their fullest potential.** **Service Model** We will encourage and assist partner service providers, as well as other community service providers, in employing a Linking Relief, Rehabilitation, and Development (LRRD) service model in providing services to Roane County residents. The LRRD service model seeks to provide emergency relief while focusing on offering service recipients a pathway to self-sustainability. **Roane County United Way Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement** The Roane County United Way works expressly to include diversity and inclusion while opposing racial and ethnic discrimination in every decision and policy.
