**We are you local United Way** Proudly serving Washington County. Everything we do is **rooted in one simple mission**: ensuring every child, family, and neighbor has the opportunity to **thrive**. Our work focuses on four key impact areas: - **Youth Opportunity** - **Healthy Community** - **Basic Needs** - **Self-Sufficiency** By partnering with generous donors and passionate volunteers, we’re able to fund local nonprofits and the programs that address our community’s most urgent needs. During our Community Investment grant process, dedicated volunteers meet directly with organizations to understand their work and impact. This year, we are honored to award **$473,000 to 17 local nonprofits** — including those featured below. Throughout the year, our team also brings the community together through events that highlight the strength and generosity of Washington County. Some of our favorites include the **United Way Annual Gala** in April, **Fish United** in May, **Stuff the Bus** in July & August, **You R You** in August, **Leadership Breakfast** in September, and **United Way Week** every October — plus a few more celebrations in between!
