**About Us** **Our Purpose** The Career Center exists to empower career choice and action. **Our Mission** We coach and support Illinois students, while connecting them to opportunities, as they make career decisions and learn lifelong career management skills. We advocate for career services and influence the field on campus and beyond. **Who We Serve** In alignment with our mission to foster a supportive environment for all members of our university community, The Career Center’s events, programs, and services are open to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, or national origin. Eligible persons include **Illinois students enrolled in residential degree programs**, **and alumni from residential degree programs for one year following completion of their degree**. Additionally, alumni from residential degree programs who are preparing and applying to health-related professional degree programs are eligible to use Pre-Health Advising services provided by the Pre-Health Advising team, regardless of when they earned their degree. The Career Center is a student fee-based service. Services are only available to students enrolled in residential degree programs at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
