In its 50-year history, UNLV has undergone an amazing transformation, from a dusty outpost on the south edge of town to a thriving urban research institution. Along the way, thanks to its innovative frontier spirit, UNLV has kept pace with one of the country’s fastest-growing and most enterprising cities.
The Army ROTC program at UNLV is proud of its history and is one of the best ROTC programs in the western United States. The program trains leadership and other essential skills necessary for students to learn how to lead today’s soldiers.
The program is run by Army officers and noncommissioned officers with a wealth of experience.
