The Usibelli Foundation Is The Philanthropic Arm Of The Usibelli Coal Mine, A Fourth-Generation Family-Owned Coal Mine.
The Foundation was incorporated in 1991 and was funded with a $1 million endowment contributed by Usibelli Coal Mine. That initial endowment and the coal mine’s subsequent support of the Foundation have allowed the Foundation’s asset base and annual investment income to grow, providing for sustained support for local non-profit organizations.
