About Us
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is the major clinical affiliate and teaching hospital of Weill Cornell Medicine. NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, an 824-bed facility, is centrally located in a collaborative medical community that includes the Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and The Rockefeller University.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides science-based diagnostic services of the highest quality in anatomic pathology and laboratory medicine; pursues innovative basic and clinical research dedicated to improving the diagnosis and management of human disease; and promotes an integrated scientific and clinical educational experience for pathology residents and fellows and Weill Cornell medical and graduate students.
