WHO WE ARE The Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE-WI) is the only society in Wisconsin which represents all branches of engineering. We are the only active, established organization devoting its entire effort to the professional, ethical, economic, political and social aspects of engineering. When you join NSPE and NSPE-WI, and participate at the local "grass roots" level, you join forces with more than 65,000 fellow engineers across the country who have broadened their professional horizons from the narrow day-to-day confines of making a living to the wider and more rewarding concepts of the profession to which you belong. HISTORY and TRADITION For over fifty-five years, the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE-WI) has been a leading voice for Professional Engineers throughout Wisconsin Promoting excellence in engineering. As a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers, NSPE-WI offers three key benefits to our members: Advocacy, Education and Networking. A 90-page history of NSPE-WI celebrating the 50-year anniversary was compiled in 1994. MISSION STATEMENT NSPE-WI is an organization of licensed Professional Engineers (PEs) and Engineering Interns/Engineers in Training (EIs/EITs). NSPE-WI enhances the image of its members and their ability to ethically and professionally practice engineering through education, licensure advocacy, leadership training, multi-disciplinary networking, and outreach.
