Our mission is to cultivate a culture of giving so Montana communities can flourish. Since 1988, the Montana Community Foundation has worked tirelessly to create permanent philanthropy and build stronger communities. Our work with donors, charitable organizations, cities and towns plays a critical role in both philanthropic and community development. Since our founding, we have reinvested more than $61 million in Montana. In just the past 10 years, we have awarded more than $30 million in grants. Our work would not be possible without the careful stewardship and administration of the more than 1,000 charitable funds and planned gifts entrusted to us, which now total approximately $100 million.
