**Our Story** The Women's Foundation of Montana (WFM) started in 1999. Together with our donors, we play a vital role in improving women's lives in our state through our foundation’s programs and grantees. Since our inception, we have granted over $1 million to organizations across Montana working to improve the lives of women and girls in our state. Our goal is for individuals across the state to have the tools and opportunity to build a life and shape a future that isn’t held back by their gender. **Mission, Vision, and Values** Mission: The Women's Foundation of Montana advances the economic security of women and creates a brighter future for girls. Vision: We envision a future in which the women and girls of Montana enjoy unlimited economic opportunities and are equally represented in leadership. **Women's Foundation of Montana Core Values** **LEADERSHIP** We are willing to take risks in pursuit of our mission. We believe in the power of women’s and girls’ leadership to positively impact Montana communities. We commit to amplifying the voices of women and girls of diverse backgrounds and identities. We aim to be accountable to this community, which includes our grantees, donors, and strategic partners.
